Collection Development Policy
The Illinois Harvest / Large-scale Digitization Initiative is digitizing scholarly research contributions of the University and content about Illinois history, culture, and natural resources from the collections of the University of Illinois Library at Urbana-Champaign. Content is being digitized in house, through our participation in the Open Content Alliance (OCA), and through contracts with other vendors. Current (2007) digitization projects include:
Open Content Alliance Scanning Center at the Oak Street Library Facility

- Chicago Field Museum Fieldiana Botany and Zoology series (special permission to digitize volumes still in copyright)
